Fernando joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern in 1984. After graduating from the University of Houston in 1985 with a B.B.A in Finance, he began his full time position as a financial representative. Over the next 10 years, Fernando built a solid financial practice, helping numerous business owners and professionals attain their financial security. In 1995, Fernando assumed the role of Managing Director and relocated to San Antonio, to set up a Northwestern Mutual district office.
He has earned numerous industry awards; he also participates in industry, company and civic organizations. Fernando is the proud father of Alejandro and Laura.
